The Z Chronicles Chapter 2Z stood up and stretched his muscles outside the small green canvas tent. He noticed the fire had been smothered by the rain that had fallen earlier that morning. He also noticed the horse had walked under the structure he had put up to keep it comfortable in case of rain. He pulled his blade from the earth and wiped its edge off on his boot. He slowly slid it into the scabbard, listening to the hiss of the steel on leather as he slid it in. He pulled previsions from his bag and cooked them over the fire.
